Team K-Swiss Triathletes on the rise

 

K-Swiss Triathletes were in action this past weekend at Race no 2 of the BSG Tri Series. Racing in the K-Ruuz (Africa’s fastest racing shoe) Rosalyn laurens blazed to a 2nd place in the Elite Ladies Section whilst Rudolf Naude and Henri Schoeman placed 3rd and 4th respectively in the Men’s Elite Section. K-Swiss are very much at the forefront of sponsorship in Triathlon in SA. Athletes are recongnising the brand as a major force in running footwear in this country…

The K-Swiss Team will be racing this coming weekend in Potchefstroom at round no 3 of the national TRI SERIES.

K-Swiss solid at 3rd Series Triathlon

Team K-Swiss produced a mixed bag of results yeterday at the 3rd round of the BSG Tri Series event up in JHB. K-Swiss sponsored Triathlete, Abrahm Louw came in 3rd overall running in his K-Ona-C’s………….Fantastic result considering he is still a junior…Glen Gore, team manager, claimed 13th overall and managed  to take out the VET’s Cat with Pieter vd Mescht winning the 20-29 age cat section. Jeff Norton took the lead in the swim with Abrahm close behind, thereafter it was a front pack of elite men that blitzed the 20km bike course with Abrahm manging to hold on for the 3rd place. Tayla Glover did not have the best race after her two 3rd place finishes just recently but is still ranked at no 3 overall on the series points ladder. Ashley Blackwell made a welcome return to racing after an injury lay-off and she will be wanting to make her presence felt this coming weekend out at Midmar Dam, KZN.

Team K-Swiss start the season on FIRE

Team K-Swiss had a great start to the season at this past weekends energade event down in Pretoria. Tayla Glover, new team recruit managed a fantastic 3rd place overall in the ladies, with a near perfecr race. She swam with the top girls, biked with thvery best girls and only just missed out on overal victory during the final 5km run leg. K-Swiss athlete, Abrahm Louw who is still a junior ran his way to 3rd place overall in the Men’s division with a great race taking on the two of the best  triathletes in SA at the moment. Jeff Norton still recovering from flu managed to win the swim leg and give Team K-Swiss some much needed coverage at the front of the race. Pieter van der Mescht came in 7th and Team manager Glen Gore 10th to complete the day for Team K-Swiss. We will be in action this coming weekend down in Potch for the 2nd leg of the series. Look out for us!!

TEAM K-SWISS GO LARGE IN 2010

Team K-Swiss will be doing battle down in East London on the 17th January when they compete in the 70.3 SA Half Ironman.

Carl, Glen and Anton are looking for some top performances against both strong local and international triathletes.....
